Ka’Tiera Truett- Owner, Birth Doula

My name is Ka'Tiera and I am a trained birth and postpartum doula to the Raleigh-Durham triangle area. I am a mom of two and I have also given birth to two babies as a surrogate. I really enjoy helping families all around and I believe giving birth is such a beautiful moment.

My hope is to inform my clients of all the options available to them for pregnancy and birth. Ensuring families the beauty of their experience isn't lost.

Becoming a birth worker has given me the opportunity to have the best of both worlds. I absolutely love helping, educating and most of all empowering others.

When I attend births I am there to hold space, advocate, offer advice and knowledge to help you make informed decisions. hold your hand, provide pain managements, acupressure and help you have the birth you desire. Birth is an unpredictable miracle and each birth is unique.

I am educated and constantly keeping myself up to date by attending new trainings pertaining to birth and postpartum care.

I enjoy spending time with my daughter in my free time, hiking, finding new places to eat, gardening and enjoying nature.
